Privacy Policy

Effective date: 18 October 2026. This policy describes the reviewed v4.8.5 Free source candidate for Phone Cleaning Kit from J ENTERPRISES. SOURCE REVIEWED

RELEASE STATUS

DATA ACCESS

Information and device access

The reviewed source requests access to photos, videos, and audio, legacy storage access on older Android versions, internet and network-state access, Wi-Fi-state access, vibration, and Android Usage Access for optional recent-app activity. It does not request Contacts or all-files access. Android controls permission prompts and scope; declining a permission can make a related feature unavailable.

Storage browsing, duplicate checks, cleanup review, compression, and selected-file Vault actions run on the device in the reviewed candidate. Files are read through Android media permissions or the system file picker. File changes are user-initiated; moving photos or videos to Android Trash requires Android confirmation, and Android controls how long Trash retains them.

Files, backups, and retention

Files are scanned and processed on the device. The Vault uses Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM in app-private storage. The reviewed source disables Android app backup; file names remain visible inside the app.

The network tester makes HTTPS requests to Cloudflare speed-test endpoints: one download capped at about 5 MB followed by small connection probes. Cloudflare receives these requests and may process the IP address and request metadata. The app does not send selected files to this endpoint; the test may use mobile data.

The reviewed app source declares no Firebase, Play Billing, analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDK in its app dependencies. The release build/AAB has not been verified and must match this disclosure before app distribution.

Vault files remain in app-private storage until you remove them or clear app data. Compressed images are saved separately in Pictures/PhoneCleaningKit; exported copies stay in the destination you choose. Android controls how long items remain in its Trash. Google Play target-audience and age-rating declarations will be completed before any Play release.
